As explained above, there are 2 types’ solar installations:

  • Thermal: for the production of sanitary water
  • Photovoltaïc: for the production of electricity

DL Solar Systems supplies both: thermal and PV installations.

  • PV (Photovoltaïc) panels: (provide electricity)
  • In PV installation  3 types of panels are used:mono-crystalline, poly-crystalline panels and thin film panels: DLS supplies installations of these 3 types, offering this way  the best technology for the given circumstances:  .

    • Crystalline panels are made with solar cells: A crystalline solar module has generally 72 rectangular solar cells (thin slices of silicon) that are welded to each other into strings of 12 pieces and are stuck in 6 rows on a glass plate. On the back side the is  an impermeable film. Depending from the production method: we distinguish mono and poly crystalline modules.
    • Crystalline panels are most suitable for smaller installations (privates), as the output of electricity per m² is high.
    • Thin film panels. In these panels the photosensitive material, is vapoured on a glass plate in a thin layer. Also to the backside, there  is a glass plate. The colour is even. They are designated for larger installations (companies, agricultures and gardeners) because of the investment costs for same capacity is much lower compared to crystalline modules. However for same  capacity more space is required.
  • Thermal panels: DL Solar Systems installs only solar collectors of the 2nd generation (with vacuum tubes) because of their superior output compared to flat plate collectors.
